Zonta Club of Columbus (Ohio)            

 

The Zonta Club of Columbus will celebrate 100 years of service and advocacy in 2029.  We have built a strong foundation locally with an objective to build a better world for Women and Girls locally and internationally.  We meet monthly to facilitate projects and events within Columbus and the surrounding area. Our events are organized around Service, Advocacy and Education.

In Service, our club supports women focused organizations throughout Central Ohio through hands on activities and donations.  These organizations work to improve the lives of vulnerable women who have experienced Gender Based Violence, Homelessness, and Substance Abuse.

In Advocacy, we host events to promote awareness of women’s issues and partner with aligned organizations to influence lawmakers to pass legislation that improves the lives of women and girls. We are currently working to raise the marriage age in Ohio to 18 effectively ending Child Marriage in Ohio

In Education, our educational awards program supports young women in academic disciplines or those navigating a life change through education.

Throughout all these activities and events, we are a group of likeminded individuals focused on helping women achieve their full potential and equity in the world while enjoying fellowship and a sense of community within our club.
